Kiara Advani and Shahid Kapoor have created enough uproar owing to their kissing scenes in Kabir Singh, which is the official remake of the Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy. While earlier Shahid came to the rescue of Kiara when she was questioned about the onscreen kisses, the actress has now come out and explained as to why the scenes were important in the context of the film. She asserted that the film has nothing with the intention of making it look vulgar or just for publicity.
In recent reports, Kiara Advani described Kabir Singh as a raw love story where the people on screen are real. The film features an intense and passionate love story between two college students – Kabir Singh and Preeti. Keeping the plot in mind, the actress mentioned that kiss is a common thing between two people who are in love as it is an essential and integral way of expression. She further asserted that one will as well forget that there is a lip lock in the film when they watch it because it is so well integrated in the story and they haven’t added anything just for the heck of it.
Let us remind you that Sandeep Vanga also directed the original Telugu version of the film, Arjun Reddy and it featured Vijay Deverakonda in the lead.
